The Name...

Moonlit-Magick.net, wow. It makes me shiver everytime I think about it. The name came to me, I think in 6th grade, while I was still in elementary school. It just kind of stuck in my head ever since I thought of it. I always dreamed of having the name, but I never thought it would actually happen as my first domain. At first, I wanted Ryan.com as my domain, but then I found someone had that. One, so I went with plan B. Which was Moonlit-Magick.net.

When I looked at the name when I typed it into Godaddy, I found that moonlitmagic.net didn't really look right. Then I thought of the hyphen. For some odd reason, I always was hosted on domains with a "-"... That was the birth of the "-". Then came the hard one... Magic, or Magick? According to other web designers, magic would be better, because people could spell it, and it would be easier to remember. In addition, it was shorter. Though since I wanted to be difficult, I decided to add the K at the end. :D

Much Thanks...

First, I would like to thank my sister Ala, for buying it for me. She was the only one that let me use her debut card to buy my domain and hosting. Nobody else in my house would let me use theirs. How mean are they?
Second, I would like to thank  everyone that helped me create the site into what it is today. Which is my first and only domain. :D

The Plans...

Originally, the plan was for me to get a reseller so that I could sell hosting places for other people. I told people about this, but as soon as some people heard the idea *Cough Cough* my dad *Cough Cough* they shut it down immediately. Just like all of my other ideas that would never seem to work. So I bought a shared plan instead just for me and a few other people. Which in the end, I think worked out better, because at the time I'm pretty sure that I would have failed miserably.

I chose to go with Surpass Hosting, because my very first hosted website was hosted at Shadow-Spirits.Org, by the wonderful lucifel. During my time there (about half a year) I only experienced one downtime, which was a result of a malfunctioning MSN bot. That was not the hosts fault so I chose them.

I went with Godaddy for the name, because it was supposedly the cheapest and most reliable. I wish I could say that... Sometimes I cant get to M-M.net, and sometimes I can't get to certain parts. Shame, shame. You get what you pay for. Right?
