Hey Everyone MERRY CHRISTMAS 2007!
Wow, it’s amazing how fast the year just seemed to fly past us. It seemed like it was just Christmas 2006 two days ago. Scarey!
Well, regardless of the fact that just so much crap fell down upon my current situation, I cannot believe I made it this far. I mean, with the death of my grandfather, my older brothers drama, my sisters drama, then my other brothers drama its amazing I’m still standing. I swear I thought I would die from that much drama all at once. I never once had that much crap fall into my lap at the same time.
Oh! And the best part of all… My Dad, banged a COW! Not sickly, I mean with his car. He was coming home from work, and supposedly it was unavoidable. So he basically kicked its legs out from under it, it rolled on his hood, then it got up and walked away. Luckily the insurance will pay for it.
You want to hear something else that was kinda funny too… The next day coming home with my moms truck, he banged this guys bumper. He supposedly pulled over, but the guy ran away. So that means he banged two of our cars, within two days. He said its not that bad, but its pretty bad….
Well, on the other hand, Christmas was good. I think. I got a new Laptop from my parents! Its a Dell Inspiron 1501. The computer functions quite well with all of the RAM and hard drive space. It also has a true life screen so the picture quality is fairly vivid. The Vista isn’t all that wonderful though. Its fairly irritating.
On the other hand, I also got clothes from my brother guys, money, cologne, a candle, and nail thing, and gift cards. I would show you pictures, but my camera battery is dead and I cant seem to find my charger.
Regardless of that, college applications have been killing me. Just the essays and constant worry of “Perfectness” that needs to go into the application process. I guess I worry more then most because my standardized test scores are kinda ugh. Hopefully my recommendations and extra-curriculars help in the application process. Not to mention that all the schools I’m applying to are private. Which is pretty stupid of me… Just because they all cost about $32,000+/ Year. Which in the end equals out to about $120,000+.
Now tell me, in Hilo, Hawaii… How much of these students parents can actually afford to send their kids to school and write a check for $120,000 right off the back? Only a select few. I guess its the money that scares me. I really don’t want to become in debt…. Help? Does anyone have ideas for fund raisers?
Ok well, Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all had a safe and wonderful Christmas!
