I know exactly how you feel. I love my friends more than anything so I used to feel similarly, except I'm leaving and a bunch of my best friends are staying here having fun (and going to the beach!) together without me. But still. I tried focusing on the awesome classes I'll be taking, the new people I'll meet, and my hobbies and I felt better. I'll still miss my friends but we can still keep in touch with Facebook and stuff. So try it! Even if everyone is moving on (I prefer "moving forward"), they won't forget about you. As for the world outside, it's not so bad here. And think of the money you'll save on tuition! :3 I know it's not easy, but try to make some good out of it for the time being.
